Who are Kent Labour?
"The Labour Party is a democratic socialist party. It believes that by the strength of our common endeavour we achieve more than we achieve alone, so as to create for each of us the means to realise our true potential and for all of us a community in which power, wealth and opportunity are in the hands of the many not the few, where the rights we enjoy reflect the duties we owe, and where we live together, freely, in a spirit of solidarity, tolerance and respect."
These Labour values and aims underpin all that the Kent Labour Forum seeks to achieve. Kent Labour Forum represents all Constituency Labour Parties in Kent. Its primary function is to work with the Kent County Council Labour Group of Councillors to promote Labour policy on Kent County Council. Kent Labour also promotes general campaigns across the whole of Kent toward realising democratic socialist change in every corner of the county.
Kent Labour helps to achieve networks of creativity and support across each individual constituency party in Kent enabling each to achieve more than they could alone.
Kent Labour is working together for real change.
